Thursday 30th July 2009, is your last chance to enter this Competition. This event also celebrates our 25 years in World Tang Soo Do Association, let us show a bigger support than we currently have. I expect all of my Black Belts and Cho Dan Bo to enter this Competition, NO EXCUSES!

After our Swine flu pandemic, Tang Soo Do training returns on Monday July 27th 2009. However, if you are currently suffering from any colds or flu like symptoms, I urge you to stay away until you have fully recovered.

Kindly spread the word to your fellow students.

Saturday 18th July saw one of our talented and loyal students recieve his black belt at the national black belt class in St Ivo, Cambridge. In front of a sea of black belts Greg was lined up with the other Cho Dan Bo that had also graded. He was given his new belt, sworn in and had to perform 3 hyungs infront of everyone. I would like to further congratulate him and all the black belts on the day.

I know this may be an old video clip, but still amazes me.

Sadly the club has had to shut temporarily as fears of the flu bug spreading, (mainly the children).  So we have currently closed the club for a short period until everyone is clear and fit to train.

If you feel you might have the flu bug please stay home and get the all clear first before coming back to train. Last thing we would want is for the flu spreading through the club.

The club will restart hopefully on the Monday 27th July

Tang Soo!

Today was a very happy moment for one of our club members. Not only was he presented his official black belt, it was the day he had begun his first class as one. As Master Khan would say – Welcome to your first class. As all the black belts lined up in rank you would understand why he says this.  Cho Dan Bos, and Cho Dans would line up right at the back, infront of them a sea of E Dans, Sam Dans and Masters. You think once you have graded for black belt that is the end, its only the beginning!

Greg Enriques was sworn in with all the other Cho Dan Bos that graded with him, handed his official belt and demostrated three basic forms infront of all the other black belts. East London conratulates him and wishes him longful life in the art of World Tang Soo Do.

This adds the tally of 4 certified Black belts at East London, and many more to come.
