The next Gup grading will be held at Robert Clack Leisure Centre on Saturday September 25 2010. We will commence at 10:00 am. DO NOT ARRIVE LATE. Late students will not be allowed to grade!

Students eligible for grading, please ensure your memberships are valid for this event.
EXPIRED OR NO MEMBERSHIP = NO GRADING.

Dan pre-test September 18, 2010

I have recommended Mr Ace Rosillo to pre-test for his 3rd Dan Black Belt. This event will take place in Huntingdon Leisure Centre, Cambridgeshire. He has worked hard to maintain a high level of standard and hopefully he will go on to the actual test on October 16, 2010.

Design for a new banner for EL-TSD

To all students of East London TSD, we are looking to design a new banner for the club. So we are asking club members to draw up what Tang Soo Do means to them and hopefully their designs will appear on the new banner.

New Schedule for 2010

For all students of East London, here is the annual schedule for 2010. If you can please open and have a read so you can fill into your diaries.

Also a reminder that we shall be starting classes this Monday 11th January 2010. If anyone is available Saturday morning for a nice 2 mile run or cycle then please give me a shout.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Wishing everybody at the East-London TSD club a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 2009 was a very good year for us, not only has the club matured in age, it has developed into a tight family. We have had another black belt join the ranks this year too, and many good students moving on to the next level.

So for the new year and the 7 years we have been running we welcome the new year with hard work and dedication. And with this push ourseleves toachieve our goals.

European Champions!!

Congratulations to all the people at East London TSD, many of the students that had competed did very well! If you received a medal you automatically qualify for the World Championships next year.

A welcomed vistor

Although we were low in numbers last night (due to holidays) our training session had a slight difference, we had a visitor from Holland. Tony and his family popped in to visit and trained with the East London club. He normally trains in Chiban TSD, under the instructions of Mr. Babak Javid.

As the Europeans are only just a few weeks away, it was a great opportunity for Tony & the East London students to interact with each other. This is another proof our art is a true World Organisation.

Everyone at the club wishes Tony and his family all the best in this year’s European Championships.

Cancellation of Sept 6th National Instructor Class

There will be no class Sunday 6th September. There will be a Ki Gong Clinic with Grandmaster Shin instead at the Huntingdon Leisure Centre from 10am-2pm. National Instructors class on Sunday 4th October will continue as usual.
